Bid Packages

The preliminary procurement schedule is provided HERE.  WSCC's goal is to create an extraordinarily well thought out construction plan benefiting from a highly experienced GC/CM team of Clark/Lewis, a joint venture; a strong team of subcontractors; a lengthy preconstruction period; and, the convention center expertise of Seattle-based LMN Architects.  The project will be funded primarily by a bond issuance from the Convention Center supported by the existing tax on hotel rooms; no new taxes will be needed for the proposed Addition.  It is also anticipated that the project will include an Owner Controlled Insurance Policy. 

Bid Packages - Tranche 6

Clark/Lewis, a Joint Venture (“Clark/Lewis”) is requesting proposals in response to the following Trade Packages from prospective subcontractors:

  • Interior Drywall (re-bid)
  • Miscellaneous Metals – Package #2
  • Glue-Laminated Construction
  • Signage (re-bid)

Bids are due no later than 2:00 pm on November 29th, 2018. Bids shall be delivered in a sealed envelope to the address below. Please visit the box link for any applicable addenda or revisions to the bid date.

No faxed or emailed bids will be accepted.  If bids are submitted via mail or courier service, they should be received by Clark/Lewis by no later than the bid due date noted above.

Bidders shall provide a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the amount bid for proposals over three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000).  The successful Bidder will be required to furnish 100% Payment and Performance Bonds per the Bid Package requirements.

Predetermination of Eligibility Packages

Clark/Lewis, a Joint Venture (“Clark/Lewis”), the General Contractor/Construction Manager (GCCM) for the Washington State Convention Center Addition project, has determined that this project meets the criteria established in RCW 39.10.400 for use of the pre-bid determination of subcontractor eligibility procedures. This project features complex new construction and build out with constrained sequencing, specific technical requirements as well as specific LEED goals and requirements. This project will also utilize BIM modeling collaboration and integrated project partnering techniques.
