Bob Tiscareno founded Tiscareno Associates, a boutique full-service architectural and urban design firm, in 2002. From an early age, Tiscareno had a love for design and architecture and that passion ultimately drove him to establish his own firm.

Tiscareno Associates is part of the broader team for both the design development and construction documentation phases. As a small, minority-owned business, Tiscareno sees working with the Addition as an incredible opportunity to play a role in a large project that will transform a substantial area of the public realm. “As a small firm, being able to work on this project is very important to us. The Addition offers us a channel to do work in an area where typically, as a firm our size, we would not have the opportunity,” he said.

Several members of the Tiscareno team were co-located in the LMN Architects’ offices. Their work included highly-detailed exterior designs for the co-development towers, interior space planning and physical model development. Said Tiscareno, “this project allows us to build our experience in public work and create a track record to landing our own future public project work.”

Originally from Southern California, Tiscareno was drawn to Seattle’s architecture scene. “Seattle has a great architectural tradition. There’s a mindset to create and establish great architecture.”
