WSCC's goal is to create an extraordinarily well thought out construction plan benefiting from: the highly experienced GC/CM team of Clark/Lewis, a joint venture; a strong team of subcontractors; a lengthy preconstruction period; and, the convention center expertise of Seattle-based LMN Architects. The project is funded primarily by bond issuances from the Convention Center supported by the existing tax on hotel rooms. The project includes an Owner-Controlled Insurance Policy.

Predetermination of Eligibility Packages
Clark/Lewis, a Joint Venture (“Clark/Lewis”), the General Contractor/Construction Manager (GCCM) for the Washington State Convention Center Addition project, has determined that this project meets the criteria established in RCW 39.10.400 for use of the pre-bid determination of subcontractor eligibility procedures. This project features complex new construction and build out with constrained sequencing, specific technical requirements as well as specific LEED goals and requirements. This project utilizes BIM modeling collaboration and integrated project partnering techniques.
