Weekly Construction Updates

April 14th, 2021

Work to be accomplished between 4/14/21 and 4/24/21 will be:

  • Erection of structural steel, metal deck, rebar, and concrete on metal deck.
  • Spray on fireproofing.
  • Mechanical, electrical, plumbing rough in, and framing.
  • Building envelope including curtain wall, framing, metal panels and roofing.
  • Excavation, foundations and underground for the loading dock north of Olive Way.

Work site is highlighted on the map. This will necessitate the following temporary traffic control set-up:

  • Sidewalk closure on the east side of 9th Ave between Howell St and Pine St
  • Sidewalk closure on the west side of Boren Ave between Howell St and Pine St
  • 3-year closure of Terry Ave between Howell St and Olive Way
  • Pine St North Sidewalk Closure between 9th Ave & Boren Ave
  • One lane closure east side on 9th Ave between Olive Way and Pine St
  • South lane and South sidewalk closure on Howell St from 9th Ave to Boren Ave
  • Sidewalk on south sides of Olive Way from 9th Ave to Boren Ave closed from 9/30/2020 to 6/1/2022
  • Olive Way reduced to 2 lanes from 9th Ave to Boren 1/23/2021 to 12/31/2021
  • Olive Way closure of north lane and north sidewalk from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on 4/14, 4/26, 4/27, 4/28

Allowable Work Hours:

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday – Friday
9:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday - Sunday

Permitted work outside allowable hours to be accomplished between Wednesday, 4/14/21 and Saturday, 4/24/21 will be:

  • 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Deliveries offloaded with a tower crane.
  • Starting at 4:00 AM, Tower crane operations and concrete pump set up.
  • 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Steel deliveries, unload, organization, erection, and welding.
  • 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Operation of the crane on 9th Ave.
  • 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Unload and stock fireproofing materials from Boren Ave.

Allowable Impact Noise Hours:

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturday - Sunday

Permitted Impact Noise work outside allowable hours to be accomplished between Wednesday, 4/14/21 and Saturday, 4/24/21 will be:

  • Steel erection requiring impact work from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
  • 2 more oversize loads that can only get permitted for the hours between 1:00 AM and 4:00AM, that require the crane on 9th Ave for offloading, will be delivered in early May. We will provide exact dates when we get closer to that timeframe.
