Weekly Construction Updates
March 3rd, 2021
Work to be accomplished between 3/3/21 and 3/10/21 will be:
- Erection of structural steel, metal deck, rebar, and concrete on metal deck.
- Spray on fireproofing.
- Mechanical, electrical, plumbing rough in, and framing.
- Building envelope including curtain wall, framing, metal panels and roofing.
- Excavation, foundations and underground for the loading dock north of Olive Way.
Work site is highlighted on the map. This will necessitate the following temporary traffic control set-up:
- Sidewalk closure on the east side of 9th Ave between Howell St and Pine St.
- Sidewalk closure on the west side of Boren Ave between Howell St and Pine St.
- 3-year closure of Terry Ave between Howell St and Olive Way.
- Pine St North Sidewalk Closure between 9th Ave & Boren Ave.
- One lane closure east side on 9th Ave between Olive Way and Pine St.
- South lane and South sidewalk closure on Howell St from 9th Ave to Boren Ave.
- Sidewalk on south sides of Olive Way from 9th Ave to Boren Ave closed from 9/30/2020 to 6/1/2022.
- Olive Way reduced to 2 lanes from 9th Ave to Boren 1/23/2021 to 12/31/2021.
- Olive Way closure of north lane and north sidewalk from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on 3/4/21, 3/5/21, 3/10/21, 3/11/21, 3/15/21 and 3/16/21.
- Closure of Olive Way and north sidewalk on Olive Way from Friday 3/12/21 at 2:00 PM to Monday 3/15/21 at 5:00 AM for crane removal.
Allowable Work Hours:
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday – Friday
9:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday - Sunday
Permitted work outside allowable hours to be accomplished between Wednesday, 3/3/21 and Saturday, 3/13/21 will be:
- 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Deliveries offloaded with a tower crane.
- Starting at 4:00 AM, Tower crane operations and concrete pump set up.
- 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Steel deliveries, unload, organization, erection, and welding.
- 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Unload and stock fireproofing materials from Boren Ave.
Allowable Impact Noise Hours:
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturday - Sunday
Permitted Impact Noise work outside allowable hours to be accomplished between Wednesday, 3/3/21 and Saturday, 3/13/21 will be:
- Steel erection requiring impact work from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
