LMN-led Team will Design $1B Seattle Convention Center Expansion

Washington State Convention Center officials on Monday said that a team made up of LMN Architects, GGN and SHoP is the "apparent successful submitter" in the competition to design a major expansion of the center in downtown Seattle. Subject to completion of contract negotiations, Seattle-based LMN will lead the team as the prime architect. GGN (Gustafson Guthrie Nichol), also of Seattle, will be the urban designer and landscape architect. Convention Center Pays $56.5M for Downtown Seattle Property

The possible expansion of the Washington State Convention Center has taken a big step forward with the center's purchase of the Honda of Seattle property.
